Thursday Recipes: Fruit Shake

Fruit shakes/smoothies are a delicious treat. They're packed with nutrients and flavor, plus, they’re a great refreshing drink for a hot summer day.

Below is a basic recipe for a sweet banana & fruit shake. Of course, there is not only one way to make a smoothie or shake—the possibilities are endless!



Ingredients:

2 bananas

1/4th of a cantaloupe

1 mango

Liquidjuice, water or any kind of milk to blend


Opt. sweetener, such as, honey or sprinkle of sugar
Ice cubes—if you wish to make it cold


                                             Get your ingredients ready

                                                Put them in your blender

                                
                          Pour just enough liquid to almost cover the fruit: blend


                               Now you can add some ice if you wish: blend
